Ceramic bulbs produce only heat and are great for keeping young chicks warm and happy. A single bulb can warm from 30 to 150 chicks depending on wattage. Running on a power source of between 220v and 240v- these bulbs are more resistant to everyday use than standard ruby bulbs. They are handy in a variety of different circumstances.
