These simple springs are the same as are used in our crow and magpie trap; the Solway Larsen trap. The strong- British made plated springs are also suitable for building a variety of diy larsen traps- and we recommend that you have a look at the GWCT’s recommended plans and code of practice for building homemade larsen traps before starting- since some specifications and dimensions are now set by law. The springs come supplied as a pair so that they can be used to make the traditional larsen with opposing catch compartments.
