Ordering Online is Safe

Your personal information and credit card details are encrypted (scrambled) with state-of-the-art technology (SSL) so that no one else can read them.

ORDERING INFORMATION

You can order a range of our products from our web site products pages.

We use a shopping cart system which allows you to browse through our product range and select items you wish to purchase. These items are stored in your shopping cart which you can access at any time by clicking the "Checkout" button. You can alter quantities of any item in your shopping cart at any time or remove items.

Once you selected the items you wish to purchase click the link at the bottom of the "Checkout" page to proceed to our secure server. All of the pages in our checkout are located on an SSL encrypted server for your security. This server encrypts all the information passing to your browser and makes it almost impossible for any third party to read your personal details. When you are in an area of the site located on the secure server you will notice a small padlock symbol at the bottom of your browser.

PAYMENT

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise specified, US Dollar and Euro prices are shown for reference only.

All prices are exclusive of postage and packing, unless otherwise stated. You can pay using most major credit and debit cards including: Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Visa Delta, JCB.

DELIVERY

All delivery prices are calculated on the weight of the items in your shopping cart and are quoted for UK mainland only, as you add items to your shopping cart the delivery price is automatically calculated and can be viewed on the checkout page at any time. The total price shown on the checkout page includes VAT and delivery for the UK mainland.

For overseas orders we will contact you with a quotation prior to despatch.

We always aim to despatch items on the day after your order, however due to the current volume of orders we aim to deliver within 7 days. If we are unable to deliver your goods within 30 day of your order we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date, or offer a full refund.

CLAIMS

When you receive goods from Solway Feeders Ltd you shall inspect the goods within a reasonable time after their receipt and you shall notify Solway Feeders Ltd if the goods are rejected.

GENERAL

All goods sold by Solway Feeders Ltd shall remain their property until fully paid for by the purchaser, notwithstanding that the risk in the goods has passed to the purchaser and notwithstanding that the buyer may not have possession of the goods.

Solway Feeders Ltd make every effort to keep this web site up to date. However, errors can occur and where this happens Solway Feeders Ltd will re-confirm prices prior to debiting your card.

INVOICING

A full VAT receipt will be sent with your order.

LAW

These terms and conditions are governed and shall be interpreted in accordance with Scottish law.

PRODUCT RETURNS

When you receive goods ordered from Solway Feeders Ltd, you have a statutory right that allows you to cancel the order up to seven working days starting from the day AFTER the goods were delivered. Please note 7 working days do not include public holidays or weekends.

We will refund the price paid as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days from notification that you wish to cancel the order. This notification must be in writing, and will not be accepted in the form of a telephone call only. We will ONLY refund the cost of the goods..

YOU must return the goods to Solway Feeders Ltd. If you do not freely return the goods, at your cost, to Solway Feeders Ltd then we may have to deduct any reasonable costs we incur in recovering the goods from you. This will be deducted from your refund.

If you, the consumer, wishes to return goods, you will return them at your own cost, we will only refund the return carriage if the goods are faulty or are incorrect.

Where products supplied are damaged, incorrect or faulty we will either replace the item or issue a full refund within 30 days of notice. We may request goods to be returned for inspection prior to agreeing to any refund at your cost. If goods are confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied we will refund any carriage costs incurred in returning the goods.

SECURITY / PRIVACY

We have taken many steps to ensure that any payment information taken on-line is processed confidentially and accurately. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology, which is the industry standard and among the best software available for secure payment transactions. Your transactions (including credit card information) are "scrambled" so that security is never compromised. COMPLAINTS

Should you have a complaint about any product purchased from Solway Feeders Ltd, or about our web site please address this to: mail@solwayfeeders.com or contact us by post, telephone, fax or in person (contact details here). We will review and acknowledge your complaint by email or letter within five working days. We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 days of receipt, you will receive a full reply by email or letter. If your complaint takes longer than expected to resolve we will keep you informed of our progress as we investigate the relevant issues.

CONTRACT

Automatic confirmation of receipt of your Order does not constitute a Contract between us. A Contract for the Sale of Goods shall only arise on the despatch of the Goods to you.

Your statutory rights are not affected by any of the terms and conditions listed here
