This traditional wet bulb hygrometer system not only consists of a high quality hygrometer, but also a plastic water container and metal hanging bracket for use inside incubators. This type of hygrometer has been used and trusted for decades by gamekeepers and commercial rearers, and the fact that it fits to the doors or the port hole of most large cabinet incubators makes it popular and compatible with modern technologies.
A wet bulb hyrgometer gives accurate readings of the relative humidity by taking measurements from a glass thermometer that is, quite literally, wet. Consistent wetness is achieved by dipping the bulb into a wick, which in turn dips into a plastic water container. The scale reads from 40% to 100% relative humidity, and we also supply Spare Wick.
