When kept in close proximity to one another, pheasants will often begin to show aggression. This can manifest itself in feather pulling and pecking, and in order to limit the pheasants' ability to inflict harm, it is sometimes necessary to clip the sharp tips of their beaks.
This Debeaker is a smart and efficient solution to de-beaking, and it can be easily filled and refilled with lighter gas. Each refill lasts approximately one and a half hours, and the heat settings can be adjusted from high to low. The blades are durable and very long lasting.
This Debeaker is very easy to use, but it is not for the novice. Before you use your Solway Debeaker, have an experienced gamekeeper show you precisely what to do with a practical demonstration.
