Mamba is the new brand of poison from Solway Feeders. This 20kg sack is suitable for dealing with mice and rats, and the active ingredient (bromadiolone) is an advanced anti-coagulant. Bromadiolone is designed to work effectively against rodents which have built up a resistance to first generation anti-coagulants such as warfarin, and this poison is sure to make a big difference to any infestation of pests.
For mice, use approximately 10 grammes of blue Mamba whole wheat in bait stations about five metres apart, which should be reduced to roughly two metres in high infestation areas. For rats, use about 50-500 grammes in stations which are about ten metres apart, reducing to five metres in areas of high infestation
All poisons are best used in secure bait stations such as the Euro Rat Bait Box and the Euro Mouse Bait Boxes (5 Units), and you must take every precaution to prevent non-target species from accessing the bait.
Bait stations should be placed in areas where mice or rats are known to be moving, and they should always be kept away from water.
