This range of products is designed to assist in the control of red mite or lice. Poultry parasites can be controlled in three main ways: Large numbers of red mites and lice can be killed with a direct and liberal application of a diatomaceous earth product like Dytomite Powder, which can be rubbed into cracks and corners. Dytomite is made up of silicone dioxide, which is a naturally occurring compound which leaves no nasty after effects. Birds can get instant relief from mites and lice by spraying them directly with a liquid Repellent, which will drive parasites off in anticipation of a major fumigation assault on the hen house or chicken coop. By sealing the doors and windows of the hen house, a lit Fortefog Fumer will leak insecticidal gas into every possible nook and cranny, killing all parasites which happen to be lurking in the gloomy corners. |
