We sell a full range of cage traps for most vermin species, from rats and foxes to crows and magpies. Our Solway Larsen Trap for carrion crows is hugely popular because of its simple design, lightweight construction and efficient operation, and it can be used to catch crows as soon as you unwrap it. Recent studies by the GWCT have shown that a Larsen trap with a call bird is fifteen times more likely to catch than one without. If you need help catching your first bird to "get the ball rolling", why not try one of our Crow or Magpie decoys, which may just give you the edge over these intelligent birds. Several of our grey Squirrel Traps double as effective traps for mink, and you should be aware that while these traps are humane, releasing either of these foreign species back into the wild is illegal, and steps should be taken to quickly despatch all trapped mink and grey squirrels. The most popular of these dual purpose traps has to be the Double Entry Trap, which is as useful on the riverbank as it is in the woods. Fox Traps have been something of a mystery to country people for many years, being seen as awkward and inefficient, but our new improvements to this traditional design have made the Solway Fox Trap stronger and more effective than any other fox trap on the market. |
