Drinking troughs can be as simple or as complicated as you need them to be, and that variety is reflected in our range of troughs and cups. At the simpler end of the scale, our Coop Cups are extremely easy to install and manage, and they simply hang on mesh or wire to provide birds with an easily accessible sip. Similarly, the Plastic Hen Trough just needs to be filled with water and left for the birds. The plastic cover prevents birds from fouling the water, and the drinker also works well as a feeder or a grit station. Rodari drinkers are rather more complicated to install, but once they are set up, they are one of the most reliable and efficient drinkers on the market. We stock Rodari drinkers with 6cm Troughs and 12cm Troughs, both of which depend upon the simple action of tilting back and forth as they are filled and emptied to regulate water levels. Rodari drinkers use 10mm Water Tubing, which may need to be fastened with Spring Clips.
